Many people who were unhappy with their country after the war they were ready to move. With permission from Britain and the Australian government they were allowed in. With close ties to Britain, Australia claimed they were open for war when Britain declared war on Germany. Australia was hit by Japan. Japan and America were battling by the islands near Australia. Australia was never totally hit. Australia avoided communism from southeast Asia. They even became more Liberal as time went on.
